Mr Abhishek Vijaya Kumar BDS

Abhishek graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India in 2004 and then pursued his career in the United Kingdom after completing the International Qualifying Examination in 2007 conducted by the General Dental Council ( GDC ), London.

Popularly known as 'Abhi'  - he has extensively worked in general practice for the last 15 years. The first 10 years he worked an associate dentist and continued to develop new skills enabling him to increase the range and quality of treatments and then took over the practice in 2017 as the owner and Principal Dentist of Blantyre Family Dental Care. 

He has special interest in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and more recently in facial aesthetics. 

Abhishek has also been involved in the training of newly qualified dentists: providing mentoring advice and support in the early stages of their careers.

Away from dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family and loves travelling.
